One day spending time with myself, I thought of all the occurrences that have happened in my life. From the people I've been fortunate to me to the situations I've found myself in. When I thought about it, good and bad, they all brought me to the place I am today. I'm a pretty lucky woman.
I have found that throughout life we meet individuals who carries us from one place to another. They inspire us, believe in us, strengthen us, love us, cry with us, sometimes disappoint us, from each experience we gain strength and wisdom that carries us through life. Hence, our "Lifeships" are our life lines through life. Some may be brief others may last a lifetime, however each play a significant role in our life's journey.
Lifeships may show up when we least expect it, when we need them most, or could be around us at all times, and we're just unaware. We often times have our core group of individuals we can turn to or rely on. That's awesome! But, once in a lifetime you may be lucky enough to find that one person who will drift the seas with you.
This is what I call, "my remember when" that one person who travels through life with you, holds you down, picks you up, and never let you go. For me that happens to be my husband. I married fairly early in life, so we've grown to be great lovers, friends, and each others confidant. We are certainly lucky to have one another, and I don't take it for granted, that I was blessed to have such a special guy placed in my life.
Our Lifeship partners can come in many forms, a grade school teacher, who saw great potential in you, a mentor, friend, or a perfect stranger, all of which impacted your life in some way. These people helped steer your life by being a influence on your choices and decisions. They may have helped you from veering off the road and assisted with you staying on course. For this we have to be thankful.
The best kind of people are the ones that come into your life, and make you see the sun where you once saw clouds. The people that believe in you so much, you start to believe in you too. The people that love you, simply for being you. The once in a lifetime kind of people.
To my main Lifeship partner, "Thanks forbelieving in me always, you made me believe in myself again, "held my hand" through the whole way! love you to pieces; youre my once in a lifetime friend!! God sent me an angel when he gave me you!! someone to make the good times soo much better; someone to hold me up threw the hard times."
It's the little things, both good and bad, that really make an impact. Don't value the materialistic things in this lifetime, the little things pack a powerful punch! It's Our Life's Connections.
